Urban Renewal Authority actively explored how to make temporary vacant land within the development zones available for the public, injecting vitality into the community. Urban Renewal Authority team decides to develop the place including dismantle some of the fences and create accessible entrances for the public, as well as removing construction materials from the site to ensure safe access and use of the land by citizens in the future. Additionally, the team decides to reuse and relocate MiC Toilet for public use.

URA KC015 Urban Renewal Development in Sa Po Road and Kai Tak Road, Kowloon City, Kowloon – Underground Utility Advance Works
Project information
Urban Renewal Authority is proposed to develop a complex development in Kowloon City.
To facilitate the project development and make good to the existing buildings surrounding to the site area, it is proposed to divert the routing of underground facilities including watermain and drainage works from the existing building to the public service point.
Wilson & Associates Ltd. serve as project engineering consultant (civil, structural and geotechnical) and project management for the construction of underground utilities diversion works. The diversion works design includes Drainage Impact Assessments, Underground Excavation Design etc.
